Each “colour block” and “quarks square” is unique – simplistic – bold – raw yet complex. There is no artistic refinement - some layers are so transparent the canvas texture is visible while on others the paint layers are so thick they crack, have blotches, and streaks. The viewer has the ability to create their own stories around the colour used - from the moods, the light, and their own point-of-view.

COLOUR BLOCKS

"Colour Blocks" is a collection of “Non-objective Art”, making no reference to anything beyond itself.  They are a combination of visual expression that does not try to duplicate the experience but rather encourages the viewer to add their own visual image.

QUARKS SQUARE

​

"Quarks Square" are colour compositions that have no meaning – no beginning – middle or end. They simply continue to achieve new patterns and compositions of seemingly the same colour they originated from.
